Katana utilizes the new Terminal Connect Graph API and releases the first interoperability with Bloomberg
ESG is becoming a major topic in the field of investment. In that light, we have added an ESG filter to different ideas to switch from conventional to ESG bonds. We have also increased our bond coverage even further by adding High Yield bonds (USD and EUR denominated).
We've added additional filtering options to allow you to focus on curve trades. With a single click you can now choose to only see curve trades from Katana.
In addition to that we've also added a filter to only display trade ideas that shorten in maturity.
We've listened to feedback and improved the layout of Katana's dashboard in order to more easily identify rich and cheap bonds in your monitor lists, and provide the most relevant ideas based on your focus.
We’ve added the possibility to search for a bond using CUSIP, enhanced our suite of filters to include z-score, z-spread diff, reversion and similarity and further improved Katana's trade idea algorithm.
We have added a novel metric, the Relative Value (RV) score, to discover and rank whether a bond is cheap or expensive on the Monitor page. In addition, we now support monitoring multiple lists.
We’ve added some useful information to the Z-spread Difference charts we display on our trade idea pages. This helps to provide better insights into the magnitude of dislocations and a clearer perspective on the historical behaviour of the difference in spreads.
With the announcement of our partnership with IHS Markit and access to more than 130K bond instruments, we are expanding the already available bond universes and adding the Investment Grade US Corporate bond and European supranational, sub-sovereign (regional) and agencies bonds universe, totalling to five distinct universes and over 30K bonds that users have access to.
The new watchlist and position monitoring feature allows users to create a list of ISINs to track via a simple copy-paste mechanism. ISINs can be identified, added or removed from the monitoring list over time.
The user is informed of relative bond performance daily, gaining valuable insights to guide their trading decisions. On a daily basis, the user will be informed of how each bond is performing compared to other similar bonds.
